  I've only ever worked with home appraisal companies that were sent out by banks - both of those appraisers were very short seemed like they hated their jobs. We needed an appraisal on an estate in Houston and I expected to go through the same unpleasant experience. Surprisingly, the gentleman that arrived from Choice Point was very pleasant. We stood on the back porch and "talked shop" for awhile before he had to get to his next appointment. Nice to see some people still care about what they do. Oh, and we were happy with the appraisal product we received as well.

  I used them seen if I could get a better appraisal for my home than hcad, and I truly regret wasting money on them. Their appraised value was within 5% of the hcad published value. When I emailed requesting a review they stated that "a lot of people" had looked at it and there were not going to change it. They were politely arrogant and quoted non-factual information such as my home been down on value in the hcad when my records very publicly stated different. I mentioned a recent sale in the neighborhood that I "joe the plumber" found googling and they stated that the last recorded transaction they had was 4-6 months prior. Regardless what I said, they cashed my check, the report was done and they will not be bothered with reviews. I may not have any appraisal training but an appraisal within 5% of the hcad is certainly worthless when you are trying to get your house sold or refinanced. So if you are just a "joe the plumber" like me, might as well just pay the appraiser chosen by your bank. Yes they are fast giving you appraisals, 1 business day; makes you wonder how much thought process is really given to your appraisal.

The performed an entire portfolio of appraisals for us within a 1 week time frame and delivered everything we needed to make logical decisions in our case. A+

  Very satisfied with my decision. The staff is extremely knowledgeable. I thought for sure I’d be overwhelmed with the process, but on the contrary, they explained everything thoroughly and had patience with me throughout. They don’t try to trick you into buying things you don’t need and get things done in a timely manner. Will refer.
